April 4-8 Designated City Wide Clean Up

    The first week in April 4th thru 8th, has been designated as Spring Cleanup for the City of Wilburton.   A call to the City Hall (918-465-5361) will activate a crew to come to your house to pick up all that extra stuff you are throwing away.

Governor Mary Fallin today (February 15, 2017) signed an executive proclamation REMOVING A BURN BAN she ordered for 53 counties, which included Latimer County.

Governor Fallin Issues 53 County BURN BAN

Governor Mary Fallin issued a two-week burn ban for much of the state because of extreme weather conditions and extraordinary fire danger.   The governor's burn ban supersedes all county burn bans currently in place. It expires Feb. 24.   The ban covers 53 counties including Latimer and surrounding counties
