Mayor Stephen Brinlee has issued a "Proclamation in Memorium" for Former Mayor Earl A. Jeffrey, our notable citizen who, "actively pursuing the betterment and continually dedicated to improving the quality of life for the citizens of Latimer County and the Wilburton Community,"

An Emergency Special City Council Meeting has been called for Wednesday, 5:00pm, September 13, 2017 to consider three (3) agenda items which are of a time sensitive nature.   Residents are encouraged to attend.

Two additional days have been added to the pickup and transporting days: Monday, Sep 4, and Friday, September 8.  The WPD bay at City Hall remains the collection point for all donations.
