Mayor Stephen Brinlee posted a Public Notice at City Hall, Latimer Court House, and the Latimer County Public Library stating all cemetery lot on hold must be paid for by October 2, 2017 after that date will be available for sale to the public.

The annual July 4th Fireworks Show held at Carlton Lake at Robbers Cave State Park has been cancelled for 2017.   There will be NO FIREWORKS on July 4th.
