Human Resources / Executive Assistant to the Mayor
Lori Chrestman is responsible for the Human Resources Department. She takes a newly hired person through the initial steps of working for the City of Wilburton. This in-process procedure includes documenting personal information, verification of previous employment, informing the new employee of benefits and City policies, and introducing administrative procedures. Other areas include the monitoring of performance appraisals, handling workman compensation incidents, and informing the public of employment opportunities.
As the Executive Assistant to the Mayor, she manages the Mayor's correspondence and calendar, answers the phone on a myriad of subjects, assists in the preparation for monthly City Council Meetings, prepares City Proclamations, arranges for meetings and conferences, orders supplies, and assists the Mayor on any special projects.
